Pak Bara Pier to Koh Lipe
This is the more mainstream route to Koh Lipe. More speedboat ferries depart from Pak Bara Pier compared to Trangβs Hat Yao Pier, making it the more popular and better-organized option. The facilities at Pak Bara Pier are also a bit more professional and developed.
Minibuses travel to and from Pak Bara from all over Thailand, and you can easily arrange transport through a local travel agency or book directly online via the booking module. In many cases, your journey will include both a minibus and ferry to or from Koh Lipe. These ferries are operated by TigerLine Ferries and SiriLanta.
The ferry ride between Koh Lipe and Pak Bara Pier takes around 90 minutes and costs between $20 and $30 per person. Again, be sure to book your tickets well in advanceβonline sales close at least 24 hours before departure, and during high season, ferries can sell out quickly. If you wait too long, you might miss out on a seat!

An adventurous crossing over the Andaman Sea, where we even spotted another ferry stranded halfway through the route due to mechanical issues.
